Walk to help special needs
A spectacular 40km mountain walk is being oganised to help raise funds for people with special needs.
The Magee Bluestack Challenge is an organised group walk covering various types of terrain including road and hill in an area about 20km south-west of Ballybofey.
This is the fifth running of this event and special needs organisations have benefited to the tune of some €650,000 as a result of the effort of the many people involved in these events.
The aim of the Magee Bluestack Challenge is to raise much needed funds in order to promote and enhance the lives of individuals with special needs i.e. Autism, Down’s syndrome, and other learning difficulties.
Saturday June 6th has been set for the Magee Bluestack Challenge 2009.
